Josh Chesser
Partner
A native of Huntsville, Alabama, Josh Chesser is a partner in the firm’s Alabama office. He concentrates his practice on construction and business litigation, as well as transactional work. Josh received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Auburn University. While at Auburn, Josh was the Vice President of the Tau Sigma honor society, and a participant in the Auburn University Global Business Experience in Central Europe. He also interned in the offices of Congressman Robert “Bud” Cramer, former member of the U.S. House of Representatives from the 5th District of Alabama, and Senator Ted Little, representing the 27th District of Alabama.
In 2009, Josh was awarded his Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University School of Law where he was a managing editor of the Tulane Environmental Law Journal and earned the honors distinction in the Tulane Trial Advocacy Program. While at Tulane, Josh represented indigent clients at the Tulane Civil Litigation Clinic and was a member of the Tulane University Legal Assistance Program, the Sports Law Society, and the Tulane Chapter of the American Inns of Court. During law school, he also clerked for United States Department of Justice and received a certificate in mediation through the Intercultural Negotiation and Mediation program conducted by the Institut für Anwaltsrecht at the Humboldt University Law Faculty in Berlin, Germany.
Josh acquired experience in construction accounting, management, and operations during his time spent as an employee of his family’s business, Shelby Contracting, Inc. in Huntsville, Alabama. Prior to joining Krebs Farley, he practiced for nearly twelve years at Smith Cashion & Orr in Nashville, Tennessee. Josh enjoys coaching youth sports, traveling, and spending time with his family.
