Edmond L. Guidry IV

Associate

Edmond is an associate in the firm’s New Orleans office. He practices in the areas of complex commercial litigation, construction litigation, surety law, and insurance defense. Prior to attending law school, Edmond spent nearly a decade working in both the Louisiana and California film industries. Following his time in California, Edmond’s passion for law drove him to return to his native Louisiana to attend law school in New Orleans. He was named a William L. Crowe, Sr. Scholar, an honor granted to those students whose grade point average places them in the top ten percent of the graduating class. During his time at Loyola, Edmond was Awarded Loyola’s Moot Court Champion and subsequently represented the school’s First Amendment Team in national competition in Washington D.C. He was invited to join the Loyola Law Review and used his time on the journal to write about Voting Rights issues in the United States. Even in practice, his passion for the First Amendment and Constitutional Law remains strong, and Edmond steadfastly follows the dockets and orders of the Supreme Court of the United States and Federal Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. In his free time, Edmond enjoys playing golf and following local and national politics.
